His exclusive interview says, quite rightly, that there has been a real rise in mental distress among children and young people, with anxiety, depression, self-harm and eating disorders the most common.

He is also correct that it is "harder to be young" now given the economic and employment uncertainty young people face, coupled with the challenges presented by social media.

There is a solution which has not been covered in this article and here it is: By introducing the separating out and teaching of mind training from mental health you create a healthy generation. Bringing mind training skills from other industries and focusing on different parts of the mind, beyond conscious and subconscious, and not touching on memory, you create proactive and preventative methods for a generation that has been struggling for a very long time. This repetitive struggle in itself when going unaddressed trains the mind the wrong way which results in their minds working against them and not for them.

When using this type of training, yoiu are not just giving young people the skills to be healthier, but you also give them the skills to achieve their goals. One set of mind training to help the "snowflake generation". A solution not just a report.
